The Cheryl Cates Memorial Foundation on Sept. 13 continued its mission of helping local families and children with a fundraiser at Key West Theater that raised more than $60,000.

CATES MEMORIAL FUNDRAISER EXCEEDS EXPECTATIONS!
A crowd of more than 200 people gathered at the Key West Theatre recently to raise funds for the Cheryl Cates Memorial Trust. Cates’ daughter and trust board member Tammy Berard said the inaugural event exceeded their best expectations.
“We sold everything in the silent auction, and the live auction was exhilarating,” said Berard. “Our original donated by Wyland sold for $15,000, nearly twice its original value.”

A LIFE WELL LIVED - CELEBRATION OF LIFE FOR CHERYL CATES
The Cates family joins musician Howard Livingston for a rendition of his original tune ‘Key West Time’ on Thursday evening at the Coffee Butler Amphitheater during a music-fi lled and heartfelt celebration of life for Cheryl Hollon Cates.
